FAQs

Who can take part?

Any gender, 18 years and over, beginners and people with little experience

Do you wear head guards?

Yes you will fight in a head guard and 16oz gloves.

How do we fundraise?

You will be given an individual Just Giving page set up in aid of our chosen charity MIND, you will fundraise personally on your journey to the fight.

We will also be giving a percentage of the event proceeds to MIND and hosting raffles on the night which will be entirely for MIND charity with prizes from amazing restaurants and local business.

How does the training work?

We provide 3 training sessions per week with ex commonwealth games GB boxer Andy McLean.

You have the choice of 2 out of 3 boxing sessions per week. If you want to train else where you can do so, but must attend at least 50% of the training provided so we can monitor progress in order to keep our match ups as fair as possible.

Is there a limit on many people I can bring?

No, you can buy as many tables and tickets as you need for your support but as the venue has a capacity these events sell out quick, so make sure you’re arranging everyone to watch you early on so you have no worries closer to the fight to keep the stress levels low.

Does it cost to take part?

No, fight night WCB is completely free to take part. All we ask in return is for each applicant to raise £100 and bring their friends along to support.
